Kerstgedachte

Used to be a tradition to enforce peace. What's left of it now? It has become a tradition with the central theme 'for the sake of peace'. It has become a thing about holiness and laws, rules and habits. The always optimistic Dutch say 'voor de lieve vrede', which says it all: it is pure hypocrisy, it is not about real peace. But let us keep it cosy. Fuck it. Break with it.

En als de hele wereld zegt dat ik gek ben, zeg ik dat de hele wereld gek is.
En als iedereen me haat om wat ik ben, haat ik iedereen om wat zij niet is.
Zij kan het zijn.

Laten we het eens anders doen. Iets van de origine oppakken. Alleen doen wat echt goed voelt. Luisteren. Want hoe lang kun je dit volhouden? Als het gewoon niet goed voelt?
